Our Mission

Walking Into A New Life, Inc. is a 501c3 nonprofit organization who provides
community awareness & holistically tangible resources to individuals affected by domestic violence.

Flexing Spending Cards

Resources such as gas, co-pays, personal items, etc. are very important for those affected by domestic abuse. Not having them can often make a difference in whether or not a personal leaves or stays in an unhealthy situation. The flex cards offer an extra boost of financial support and confidence needed to make their journey a bit smoother

Microenterprise Initiative

Statistics consistently show that more than 90% of victims stay in abusive relationships due financial barriers. Many survivors have great skill sets that can be developed into micro-businesses, but have been physically, emotionally and/or financially deprived the needed support to consider the possibilities. We want to give survivors a chance to establish/maintain self sufficiency & ownership by connecting them to proper business training, counseling & a small stipend to holistically support themselves and their families.

Relocation Assistance

When a person chooses to leave an abusive relationship, they put themselves in greater risk of retaliation by the abuser. Relocating to another area can establish a fresh start, help to provide a sense of safety and support from family members, friends or other agencies. The goal is to establish & maintain a holistically happy, stable life.
